About Tour Package

This 3-day focused Kenyan safari adventure departs north from Nairobi for an immersive wildlife experience inside the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the high-altitude Laikipia Plateau. After driving past Mount Kenya and crossing the Equator, you will explore a 90,000-acre sanctuary boasting East Africa’s largest black rhino population, track the classic Big Five, and visit a specialized rescue center for chimpanzees. The itinerary features a rare opportunity to meet the world’s last two remaining northern white rhinos under 24/7 armed guard, a session inside a camouflaged underground photographic viewing blind, and an optional spotlight night safari before returning to the capital on the afternoon of the third day.

The Scenic Highlands & The Equator Crossing Drive through the historic agricultural lands of Central Kenya, enjoying spectacular views of the jagged, snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya out of your right window on a clear morning. Around mid-morning, you will reach the vibrant frontier town of Nanyuki to cross the official Equator line. Your guide will pull over for a quick restroom break, an optional water-drainage demonstration, and a photo opportunity by the landmark sign.

    3. Arrival & Lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp Enter the gates of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy by 11:30 AM. You will drive through the reserve to check into your accommodation—most famously Sweetwaters Tented Camp or a similar luxury eco-lodge. Unpack in your permanent canvas tent, which features a private en-suite bathroom and electricity. Sit down for a fresh buffet lunch overlooking the camp's private, heavily visited watering hole.
